The part of it, known as Knoll Beach, is the location of an officially recognized nudist beach. That beach too is ranked as top of its class, one of the best in the country.

The beach at Corton became a general use area at the end of last summer because coastal erosion had significantly reduced the amount of sand available for sunbathers. He said that by-laws do not prohibit nude sunbathing, but some other activities, such as a man deliberately exposing himself or other obscene acts, are illegal and police will continue to take action against anyone carrying out any activity which causes harrassment, alarm or distress, including anyone who is abusive towards naturists using the beach. When the decision to de-designate the nudist beach was taken following a consultation, the council worked with British Naturism to come up with criteria for a new facility and looked at other possible sites in the district, but no other naturist beach has yet been designated.
