Most of the thousands of Megan's Law offenders in Pennsylvania keep their information and photographs up to date, as is required by authorities. They need to check in with police, but have yet to be charged with a crime for not doing so, Reed added. And there are 22 other offenders, including one from the Lehigh Valley, who now have felony warrants out for their arrest and they are considered "absconded" -- one step further than noncompliant, Reed said.
